GRIEF RITUAL are a metal band from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, whose sound fuses metallic hardcore, blackened post-metal, and the crushing, slower sides of death metal. Formed in 2022, GRIEF RITUAL are known for their unrelenting heaviness, punishing riffs, and crushing breakdowns. New single ABYSSAL CONDITION, featuring AUSTIN HAYES of Florida's HEAVY//HITTER, is the first to appear from the upcoming CHURCH ROAD RECORDS release SURVIVE OUT OF SPITE. ABYSSAL CONDITION laments the hypocrisy of war and the arms trade. Taking an incendiary and cathartic live show across the UK and Ireland, making appearances at BLOODSTOCK, 2000 TREES, THE SIEGE OF LIMERICK, ARCTANGENT, INCINERATION FESTIVAL, BURN IT DOWN, and TECH FEST. GRIEF RITUAL have also supported KNOCKED LOOSE, TERROR, GATECREEPER, END, FUMING MOUTH, INTER ARMA, WIEGEDOOD, CELESTE, and toured the UK with HERIOT, HEAVY//HITTER, PARTY CANNON, BURNER, and UNDERDARK.
