SLIME CITY come from Glasgow, Scotland and consist of three Michaels (ex-members of cult indie rock band&nbsp;WE ARE THE PHYSICS) playing fast, existentialist nerd rock for 'people who like both&nbsp;sighing&nbsp;and fighting'. Following their debut single&nbsp;'Less&nbsp;Jools More Top Of The Pops', a track about the gentrification of music, they released four DIY singles, including 'Dial-up Internet Is The Purest Internet', and 'You &amp; Everybody That You Love Will One Day Die' (perhaps ironically called 'Sound of the summer' by BBC Radio 1 Scotland). After sold out headline shows and tours with rock legends Mclusky and DIY icons Bis, they released their debut album 'SLIME CITY DEATH CLUB' in 2023, which peaked&nbsp;at number 5 in the Official Scottish Album Charts and it would've gone higher if it hadn't been&nbsp;for that Lewis&nbsp;Capaldi. In 2025, they will independently release their second album 'National Record of Achievement', with a number of pre-order incentives, including genuine copies of National Records of Achievement folders from the 1990s and working replicas of 'THE SHOE' - a synth built into a leather shoe (left) that the band play during their live shows.
